Nelly’s personal approach to photography is experimental and meditative.
They seek to capture moments of stillness and use 35mm film to guide them in the contemplative aspect of photography. Stillness, as they define it, not only describes a pause of motion, and/or thought, but also a temporal pause of emotion, experience, and energy as seen through some of their work.
